Up From Hell
Fighting the good fight so Satan and I constantly tangle
My perception sometimes tilted so life’s seen from an angle
Mediation before next step is a wise move for advancement
Clairvoyant and correct for my vision’s enhancement
Actions are not out of date so to hell with appeasement
Life should be an English concept, subject and verb agreement
Six feet tall, medium build and weigh roughly 220
Grinding all summer so appearance was bummy
I heard a quote once before at 1st thought it was funny
“You’ll always lose money chasing women but never lose women when you’re chasing after money”
Life was stagnant at that moment
Tolerance makes one complacent
Had to get back to basics or my spiritual basement
There is a good time for anger so that offset the sadness
Every genius that ever lived carried an ounce of madness
Something so therapeutic about starting over from the core
Then chip away at your problems till your knuckles are sore
The only way is up so lateral movement can begin
“When you’re up your friends know you when you’re down you know your friends”
Now my summer’s tribulation is over, after difficulty come ease
Wazim will await his life’s next test but for now I will just breathe
